When you join our team as a HRIS Coordinator, you play
an integral role in supporting, maintaining, and deploying systems, focusing on
the user experience from an inclusive viewpoint while supporting the HRIS Team.

Are

looking for a self-starting HRIS Coordinator to join our HRIS Team under the
Total Rewards umbrella. The HRIS Coordinator will be the first point of
contact for Interfor’s end-users, providing superior customer service, support,
and follow up. You’ll have detective-like
problem-solving skills and are always excited to troubleshoot and find the root
cause of a technological issue, while providing realistic resolutions to the
user and company.

This dynamic role requires in-office attendance at our Corporate Office at Metrotown three days a week and flexibility to accommodate the diverse time zones of our locations (PST, CST, EST, AST) will be essential for success.

What You’ll Do

Support: Human Resources Functions & Employees:

  • Triage, answer and solve end-user support inquiries (calls, emails, chat, etc.) and assist them in a friendly, timely, and positive manner while documenting improvement opportunities for the HRIS Specialists and Manager.
  • Work as part of a team to meet and exceed Interfor service level agreements and customer service expectations.
  • Create, maintain, and deliver system administrators and employee/manager user training materials (how-to guides) and training sessions, leveraging our LMS, SharePoint, and Digital Adoption Platform (DAP).
  • Deliver routine daily/weekly/monthly reporting and respond to basic to intermediate ad hoc data requests and prepare reports, graphs, charts, and statistics in support of human resources operations.
  • Monitor and resolve system alerts, data feeds and integration errors.
  • Provide support to other areas of the Total Rewards Team as required.

  • Perform regular audits and integrity checks of the HR data to ensure data integrity and promote continuous improvement in data quality across the organization.
  • Record, review, and interpret data to determine its effectiveness, and research discrepancies.
  • Support and audit the flow of data between HR Systems, ensuring data accurately and timely passes between systems; and troubleshoot and prioritize the resolution of data errors quickly and tactfully.
  • Support additional duties and special projects to ensure the business is operating efficiently and in compliance with all current regulations.

Maintain: System Solutions:

  • Maintain full working knowledge of all HR Systems to support the organizations needs for system processes, workflows, and security; and support the maintenance, troubleshooting and design of HRIS modules and functions.
  • Support data collection and consolidation for various initiatives related to employee data, employee development programs, recruitment, and HRIS.
  • Assist in policy and procedures administration, including tracking updates and producing various HR reports; and create and maintain documentation on current and desired-state HR system processes, including data, systems, technology infrastructure, and business processes.

What You Offer

  • 1+ years related experience, ideally involved with HRIS or similar systems.
  • Relevant post-secondary degree preferred.
  • Knowledgeable of HR generalist concepts, policies and procedures.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) with an emphasis on Excel (at minimum should have the ability to use VLOOKUP, If Statements, Pivot Tables, etc.).
  • Intermediate verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience coping effectively with change and managing priorities in a fast-paced, results-oriented work environment.
  • Experience with Cornerstone OnDemand (or similar Talent Suite), ADP Workforce Now, UKG (UltiPro & Kronos), Digital Adoption Platforms, SharePoint and Tableau considered an asset.
  • Fluent/bilingual in English and French considered an asset.
  • Takes pride in their attention to detail, high degree of accuracy and a strong level of personal accountability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating sound judgement and discretion and the ability to explain complex, technical details, in a professional and easy-to-understand way.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate, work effectively and build trust with Operations and within the HR department.
  • Self-starter with the ability to take the lead and responsibility to resolve complex issues and problems; and can work with little supervision.
  • The ability to interact and respond to multiple stakeholders and prioritize conflicting requests, while meeting tight deadlines and managing expectations.
  • Strong business acumen to provide credible, professional, and value-added services to management and employees.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to take initiative to analyze situations and problems to find viable, timely solutions.

What We Offer
Interfor has posted the following expected salary range that the company believes in good faith could be offered to successful candidates. The salary offered is benchmarked to current market conditions and will also be based on numerous factors which can include work experience, skills, credentials, education, and other relevant factors. In addition to a competitive salary, you will receive a competitive benefits package and be able to participate in our Short-Term Incentive Bonus plan, with the payout amount subject to individual and corporate performance. Expected range: $60,000 – $73,000 per year
