This position requires you to be on-site to perform the job duties and ideally the candidate will start in May 2025 and be available from 4-8 months.

  • Salaries starting from $3,300 per month (based on your year in school and previous experience)
  • Temporary living allowance for interns moving to the area for the role

What You’ll Do

As a Maintenance Intern, you will have the opportunity to focus on Maintenance needs at the mill. The role will involve collaborating with the site maintenance team with day-to-day maintenance tasks, conducting data entry and analysis, solving operational challenges, and contributing to a key project aimed at solving mechanical bottlenecks or improving maintenance processes to increase production and ensure top quality products. You will also be tasked with identifying opportunities for process improvements and developing best practices within our operations, along with gaining exposure to leadership opportunities throughout your term.

What You Offer

  • Working towards a degree or diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial) or any industry-related degree/diploma.
  • Commitment to maintain a safe work environment without compromise.
  • Analytical & problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with your team and other departments.
  • Desire to perform hands-on work within the mill with the various equipment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook.
