Interfor is seeking energetic and enthusiastic team players to join our team as a Administrative Assistant (front office) in Thomaston GA. Starting rate for this position is $18.04 per hour. 7am-4pm Mon-Fri. 1 Saturday per month – inventory

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain professional and courteous customer relationships with clients, vendors, and internal customers.
  • Update Company postings and Xibo Message boards
  • Daily Mail Distribution
  • Credit card receipt entry
  • Weekly/ME consumable inventory in EAM (data entry)
  • Order Office Supplies
  • Month end inventory
  • Mild offices cleaning, keeping office areas professional/clean
  • Enter Daily reports and work orders
  • Uniform tracking resolve problems with vendor
  • Maintain safety records including training records, JSA’s, safe work cards, etc.
  • Boot and safety eyeglass ordering/allowance tracking
  • Ad Hoc Accounting/operations reporting
  • Ad Hoc Human Resources reporting and duties
  • Maintain Safety Activity Log by reviewing received training/audit and entering into spreadsheet
  • AD Hoc EHS reporting and duties
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Offer

  • Self-starter with the ability to perform multiple tasks with minimum supervision.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to work effectively in an interactive team environment.
  • Strong administrative and computer skills, experience with Microsoft Excel and Word and CMMS. EAM is an asset.
  • Proficient in operating general office equipment including calculator, phone, fax, copier, etc.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma is required.
  • Positive, dedicated, detail oriented and driven to succeed
  • Effective organization, planning, implementation, and follow up skills
  • Excellent social and problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a highly interactive environment
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
  • Strong Excel Skills
  • Physical requirements: walking, standing, climbing stairs, bending, lifting.
