Divisional Accountant, Monticello, Arkansas
When you join
our team as a Divisional Accountant, you will be responsible for
applying accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information,
prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements, support
forecasting and budgeting, and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures
are in place. This role provides financial analysis and reporting to support
divisional and regional operations and participate in
operational initiatives.
This role is
based on-site at the sawmill located at 211 Old Troy Rd, Monticello, AR 71655.

What You’ll Do
- Prepare
and analyze financial reporting including month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, cost reporting,
budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis. - Ensure
accurate financial records and strong controls by maintaining compliance with
accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, and supporting
audits. - Provide
financial insight and support to operations by partnering with Mill Managers and divisional teams on
reporting, analysis, and business decision-making. - Support
continuous improvement and leadership initiatives including capital projects and internal
reporting requirements.
What You Offer
- Degree in
Finance, Accounting or Business - At least 3
years of experience in accounting in a manufacturing environment - Strong Excel skills
- Collaborative
and approachable, with resilience and openness to feedback needed to work
effectively with strong operational leaders
