Certified Journeyman Industrial Electrician, Grand Forks, British Columbia
Interfor is seeking
energetic and enthusiastic team players to join our team as a Certified Journeyman Industrial Electrician in Grand Forks.
Starting rate for this position is $48.895 per hour.
What You’ll Do
- Work in a safe and efficient manner while following
all safety rules and regulations. - Preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of
sawmill, planer and kiln hot oil system electrical equipment and controls. - Set up, troubleshoot, and repair PLC and
HMI systems. - Solve problems and work as part of a team
focused on machine reliability and breakdown prevention.
What You Offer
- Must be a Red Seal certified journeyman industrial electrician (BC/IP).
- Must have Allen Bradley PLC experience,
Motion Control and the ability to troubleshoot VFD drives, Optimizer Systems, and Scanners. - Strong safety background.
- Be a positive contributor to a team.
- Able to communicate effectively with your team and
other departments. - Take personal responsibility for the quality and
timeliness of work. - Must have good computer skills.
- Must be willing to work swing or alternate shifts, as required.
- FSR qualification would be considered an asset.
