Office Coordinator, Port Angeles, Washington
When you join our team as a Office Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing administrative
support to the mill operations, including accounting, human resources and the
safety department. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
Salary Range: $57,000-62,000 USD based on experience
What You’ll Do
- Administrative: Front‑desk coverage, visitor and call handling, mail distribution, meeting room scheduling, office supplies management, event coordination, and general administrative support.
- Accounting: Processing daily log deliveries, assisting with log purchase and sales agreements, maintaining rates in LIMS, and providing coverage during absences.
- Human Resources: Coordinating employee engagement and retention activities, distributing bi‑weekly payroll checks, and supporting external recruiting efforts such as job postings and job fairs.
- Environmental, Health & Safety: Maintaining safety and training records, supporting new‑hire safety orientations, and completing safety‑related data entry and documentation.
What You Offer
- 3-5 years of
administrative experience. - Strong professional skills: Positive, proactive, detail‑oriented, and discreet, with excellent organization, planning, follow‑up, and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
- Effective team contributor: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, advanced Excel proficiency, willingness to learn, and flexibility to adapt and work effectively in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
- High School Diploma
