The Field Support Technician
is a hands-on IT role focused on supporting mill operations through reliable,
onsite technology support. You’ll be the face of IT at mill sites—installing,
troubleshooting, and maintaining critical systems that keep operations running
safely and efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys travel,
problem-solving, and working in industrial environments.

qualifications, with an expected range of $65,000 – $79,000 (CAD) per

What You’ll Do

  • Asset Lifecycle Management: Provide hands-on IT support at mill sites, including hardware installs, troubleshooting, and repairs
  • Infrastructure: Perform basic physical IT work such as network drops, access point installs, and equipment moves
  • Projects: Support application rollouts, hardware refreshes, and onsite IT initiatives
  • Documentation: Log all work accurately in the ticketing system and flag recurring issues or risks
  • Collaboration: Partner with internal IT teams and vendors, escalating complex issues when needed
