As a Sawmill Superintendent with
Interfor, you’ll lead the overall operations of a modern sawmill, driving
safety, productivity, and team engagement in a dynamic environment. This is an

What We Offer
Interfor offers a competitive salary based on experience, skills, and
qualifications, with an expected range of $130,000 – $145,000 (CAD) per

Highlights of the Role
- Safety: Champion a culture of safety, ensuring all policies and standards are followed.
- Leadership: Direct and support your team to achieve operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities to boost productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Quality: Oversee all aspects of lumber manufacturing to meet or exceed quality standards.
- Accountability: Manage budgets, performance reviews, and compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
What You Offer
- Experience: 5–7 years of progressive supervisory experience in sawmill or manufacturing operations.
- Education: Post-secondary education in a related field preferred (degree or diploma an asset).
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, drive results, and foster a positive, collaborative culture.
- Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Knowledge: Thorough understanding of sawmill processes, safety, and optimization best practices.
