Lubrication Technician/Oiler, Thomaston, Georgia

Interfor is seeking a safety-minded, dependable, and motivated Lubrication Technician/Oiler to join our team in Thomaston, Georgia. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining lubrication systems and components throughout the mill, ensuring equipment is properly greased, oiled, and maintained to support safe, reliable, and efficient production operations. The pay rate for this position is $23.07 per hour to $25.71 per hour based on skill level and experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Service and maintain all reducers.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on all drive chains and sprockets.
  • Change filters on hydraulic units and check oil levels regularly.
  • Fill all lube tanks and oil tanks daily.
  • Perform basic maintenance on hydraulic units.
  • Service, repair, and maintain automatic oil and grease lube systems.
  • Perform any other duties in any area requested by Supervisor in order to keep area in operation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor to support continuous mill operations.
  • Physical Requirements: Walking, standing, sitting, climbing stairs, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.).

What You Offer

  • Flexibility to work varied schedules.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience (or entry-level candidates may be considered for Trainee positions).
