Top Pay & Incentives
- Earn up to $40.74 per hour based on skill level and experience.
- Up to $1.25/hour Night Shift Premium
- Quarterly Gainshare Bonus (performance based)
What You’ll Do
- Perform electrical repair and improvement projects throughout the entire mill site.
- Read, write, and understand electrical schematics, equipment drawings, and blueprints.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance duties.
- Troubleshoot, maintain and repair all Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) controls, A.C inverters, or any other control systems throughout the mill site.
- Adhere to an absolute lock-out policy, ensuring that the power source is turned off, machine locked out, and tested to ensure isolation.
- Effectively manage and plan work to accomplish job tasks with minimal direct supervision.
- Submit work requests.
- Fill out completed work orders listing work done, parts used, and time taken to complete the job.
- Perform any other duties in any area requested by Supervisor.
- Physical Requirements: Walking, standing, sitting, climbing stairs, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
What You Offer
- Minimum of three years of related experience or a technical degree in a closely related field.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to work safely from elevated platforms and heights.
- Skilled in training others and supporting preventive maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Willingness to learn to operate mill equipment to perform test runs following repairs.
- Flexibility with schedules, including weekends, holidays, and call-ins as needed.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
