This position
requires you to be on-site to perform the job duties and ideally the candidate
will start in May 2026 and be available from 4-8 months.

competitive compensation for students including the following:

  • Salaries
    starting from $3,300 per month (based on your year in
    school and previous experience).
  • Temporary living allowance for
    interns moving to the area for the role.

What You’ll Do

As a GIS Intern, you will gain
hands on experience working with geographic information systems to support woodlands operations. You’ll support the GIS team with the creation, implementation, and
maintenance of GIS applications, helping improve operational efficiencies and
support effective business practices. This role is ideal for a student with a
passion for mapping, technology, and improving overall operational efficiency.

What You Offer

  • Proficient in GIS tools including ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Online, with strong analytical skills using ESRI and MS Excel.
  • Effectively communicates complex data and recommendations clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrates accountability for high-quality, timely work and excels in independent, problem-solving environments.
  • Understands technical areas of expertise and how they integrate with broader business goals.
