As a Finishing End Superintendent (Planer/Dry End)) at
Interfor, you’ll lead a motivated team in a dynamic, technical manufacturing
environment. You’ll oversee the safe and efficient operation of the planer
mill, dry kiln, inventory yards, and shipping department, driving continuous
improvement and operational excellence. This is a high-impact leadership role
where your expertise will shape safety, quality, and productivity across the
finishing end.

  • Safety: Champion a culture of safety and lead by example.
  • Operations: Oversee planer mill, dry kiln, yards, and shipping for productivity, quality, and cost control.
  • Environment: Manage environmental activities, including storm water, dust, and process water systems.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with sales and process control teams to align products and drive value.
  • Improvement: Lead continuous improvement and support capital projects.

What You Offer

  • Experience: 3 years in heavy industrial or manufacturing operations
  • Leadership: 3 years in a supervisory or management role
  • Expertise: solid understanding of lumber manufacturing processes and equipment (planer, kiln)
