As an Mobile Equipment Operator in Eatonton, Georgia, you’ll play an important role assisting operations in the safe and efficient movement of lumber products throughout our manufacturing operation.
What You’ll Do
- Daily physical and written inspection of equipment prior to start-up.
- Operate equipment in a manner to maximize productivity by unloading log trucks.
- Sort logs.
- Housekeeping in and around log yard.
- Grease equipment and help with maintenance.
- Physical Requirements: Walking, Stairs, Bending, and Lifting (Up to 50 lbs).

- Able to complete operator certification.
- Commitment to maintain a safe work environment without compromise.
- Able to lift heavy objects and to climb up and down from equipment.
- Recognize problems and have them corrected immediately.
- Understand the importance of teamwork and have a positive impact on the team.
- Open-minded and positive in dealing with change and new ways of doing things.
- Able to communicate effectively with your team and other departments.
- Take personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work.
- High School education or GED equivalent preferred.
