Maintenance Intern, Castlegar, British Columbia

You’ll work side-by-side with experienced professionals, build practical
skills, and gain exposure to the technologies shaping the wood products

This
is an on-site internship with an anticipated start date in May 2027. Ideally,
you’ll be available for a 4-8month term.

compensation for interns, including:
- Salaries
starting from $3,350 per month (based on your year in
school and previous experience). - Temporary
living allowance for
interns moving to the area for the role.
What You’ll Do
- Gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Learn how industrial maintenance supports safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
- Contribute to projects focused on equipment reliability, process improvement, and operational performance.
- Work alongside experienced maintenance and operations professionals to solve real-world challenges.
- Build technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills while gaining exposure to modern sawmill operations.
What You Offer
- You are
working towards a degree or diploma in an industry-related program
(forestry, supply chain, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering,
industrial engineering). - You are
committed to maintaining a safe work environment. - You
communicate clearly and enjoy collaborating with your team and other
departments. - You are
interested in hands-on work in an industrial setting. - You are
comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
