This role owns the
commercial success of Interfor’s specialty lumber products, with a focus on
Western Red Cedar and non-commodity whitewood. You’ll sit at the intersection of
sales strategy, customer relationships, and mill operations; shaping pricing,
negotiating contracts, and turning market opportunities into profitable, value‑added
programs. It’s a highly visible role with real ownership, offering variety,
autonomy, and regular time in the field working directly with mills and
customers. Ideal for someone who enjoys strategic selling, operational
collaboration, and building long‑term customer partnerships.

What We Offer
Interfor offers a competitive salary based on experience, skills, and
qualifications, with an expected range of $104,000 – $135,000 (CAD) per

What You’ll Do

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute pricing and sales programs to maximize margins
  • Customer Ownership: Manage customer relationships, negotiations, contracts, and credit
  • Operations Alignment: Coordinate product flow from mill through processing to customer
  • Market Intelligence: Identify trends and translate opportunities into sales initiatives
  • Field Engagement: Visit mills, processors, and customers to drive value‑added opportunities
