Finishing End Superintendent, Chase, British Columbia
As a Finishing End Superintendent at
Interfor, you’ll lead a motivated team in a dynamic, technical manufacturing
environment. You’ll oversee the safe and efficient operation of the planer
mill, dry kiln, inventory yards, and shipping department, driving continuous
improvement and operational excellence. This is a high-impact leadership role
where your expertise will shape safety, quality, and productivity across the

Highlights of the Role
- Safety: Champion a culture of safety and lead by example.
- Operations: Oversee planer mill, dry kiln, yards, and shipping for productivity, quality, and cost control.
- Environment: Manage environmental activities, including storm water, dust, and process water systems.
- Collaboration: Liaise with sales and process control teams to align products and drive value.
- Improvement: Lead continuous improvement and support capital projects.
What You Offer
- Leadership: Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Expertise: Deep knowledge of manufacturing and sawmill processes.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
- Experience: 7–10 years in manufacturing operations, with 3–5 years in a supervisory or management role preferred.
- Education: Post-secondary education in Forestry, Business, or equivalent industrial experience is preferred.
