EHS Supervisor

EHS Supervisor, Monticello,

When you join our team as a EHS Supervisor, you will lead the implementation and management of safety and
environmental programs to ensure compliance with company policies and
regulatory requirements. Serving as the site’s primary EHS resource, this role
oversees training, inspections, incident investigations, and continuous
improvement initiatives to foster a safe and sustainable work environment. This posting is for an existing vacancy.

What You’ll Do

  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to safe work practices.
  • Manage and evaluate safety programs (e.g., lockout/tagout, mobile equipment, contractor safety).
  • Lead EHS training, including orientations, certifications, and compliance programs.
  • Conduct safety and environmental audits, inspections, and industrial hygiene monitoring.
  • Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and track corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate EHS records, permits, and ensure timely regulatory reporting.
  • Support and coordinate Safety Committee functions and emergency preparedness.
  • Administer environmental programs including waste, stormwater, air permits, and sustainability.
  • Stay current on regulations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Offer

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related science, and /or an equivalent level of experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety with a Bachelor’s degree. Minimum of 5 years related experience without a degree.
  • Well-versed in EPA, OSHA and related standards and regulations.
  • Works effectively both independently and in team settings
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities
  • Clear and professional communicator with internal and external stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in Safety Management Systems such as Intellex is preferred.
