Operator Level 3 Stacker, Bay Springs, Mississippi

Interfor is seeking energetic and enthusiastic team players to
join our team as a Operator Level 3 Stacker in Bay Springs, Mississippi. Starting rate for this position is $20.10 per hour with the potential to grow based on skill level and experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Ability to operate and grease ALL machine centers in planer.
  • Give operator breaks and operate machines when main operator is on vacation.
  • Train other employees to operate machines, perform preventive maintenance, and greasing.
  • Perform duties of utility as needed and all other duties thought necessary by the supervisor or crewleader.
  • Ability to recognize problems and to effectively communicate them clearly so they can be corrected immediately, through verbal communication, checklist, and work orders.
  • Ability to advance into a future supervisor.

What You’ll Offer

  • High School education or GED equivalent preferred
  • Knowledge of all planer machine centers.
  • Certified forklift operator.
  • 2-3 years in lumber operations.
  • Some computer skills required.
  • Knowledge of grading rules.
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Walking, Stairs, Bending and Lifting (Up to 50 lbs).
