What We Offer

Interfor offers a competitive salary based on experience, skills, and
qualifications, with an expected range of $175,000 – $200,000 (CAD) per

What You’ll Do

  • Leadership: Guide, develop, and inspire a diverse team across all mill departments.
  • Operations: Oversee daily mill activities, ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Safety: Set the standard for safety performance and ensure compliance with all regulations.
  • Strategy: Implement optimization programs to maximize margins and drive continuous improvement.
  • Compliance: Ensure all operations meet company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Performance: Manage financial results, production scheduling, and inventory control.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Foster strong relationships with employees, customers, and the local community.

What You Offer

  • Experience: 10–15 years of multi-department supervisory experience in wood products; proven success as a Mill Manager.
  • Education: Post-secondary education in Wood Products, Business, Operations, or related field.
  • Expertise: Deep knowledge of lumber manufacturing, equipment, and optimization.
  • Leadership: Strong team-building, problem-solving, and communication skills; a track record of driving cultural and performance improvements.
  • Skills: Analytical, detail-oriented, adaptable, and proficient with Microsoft Office; mechanical/electrical aptitude is an asset.
