Maintenance Supervisor

Maintenance Supervisor, Bathurst, New Brunswick

When you join our team as a Maintenance Supervisor, you
will be responsible for leading the maintenance team and ensuring the
safe, reliable, and efficient operation of mill equipment. This role plays a
critical part in maximizing equipment performance, minimizing downtime, and
supporting the mill’s production objectives through effective maintenance
planning and team leadership.

  • Salary range of $90,000 – $110,000 (CAD) annually

What You’ll Do

  • Lead a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with
    company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise and support the maintenance team, providing
    direction, coaching, performance management, and workforce planning.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee maintenance activities to
    maximize equipment reliability and minimize production downtime.
  • Ensure high-quality, responsive maintenance services that
    support the operational needs of the sawmill, planer mill, and kilns.
  • Manage departmental budgets, work plans, and maintenance
    systems to drive performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

What You Offer

  • At least one of the following: Journey Level
    Millwright, Welder, Machinist or similar ticket, or post-secondary education
    related to the maintenance of equipment
  • 3 years of experience in wood products manufacturing or a
    heavy industrial environment
  • 1 year of experience leading, supervising, or coordinating
    maintenance personnel in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Bilingualism in French and English
