Interfor is seeking energetic and enthusiastic team
players to join our team as a Journeyperson Industrial Electrician in Bathurst, New
Brunswick.
What You’ll Do
- Work in a safe and efficient manner while following all safety rules and regulations.
- Reporting to the Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, this position is primarily responsible for: Electrical maintenance operations, handled in a productive and economical way, by using the preventive maintenance management systems and tools.
- Maximize electrical systems availability and utilization.
- Perform troubleshooting and recovery of any electrical malfunctions.
- Solve problems and work as part of a team focused on machine reliability and breakdown prevention.
What You Offer
- Journeyman Industrial Electrician.
- Experience work in in industrial setting, sawmill an asset.
- Electrical/Industrial Control Technology and/or equivalent PLC & VFD experience.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to safety.
- Willingness to work varied shifts (days, nights)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation
- Bilingualism an asset
- Strong safety background.
