Quality Control Intern, Timmins, Ontario

You’ll work side-by-side with experienced professionals, build practical
skills, and gain exposure to the technologies shaping the wood products

This
is an on-site internship with an anticipated start date in May 2027. Ideally,
you’ll be available for a 4-8month term.

- Salaries
starting from $3,350 per month (based on your year in
school and previous experience). - Temporary
living allowance for
interns moving to the area for the role.
What You’ll Do
- Learn how quality control supports the production of high-quality wood products.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret quality and operational data from different areas of the mill.
- Participate in inspections, surveys, and process reviews to help identify improvement opportunities.
- Assist with quality improvement projects, reporting, and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to support product quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Gain hands-on experience solving real manufacturing challenges while building your analytical and problem-solving skills.
What You Offer
- You are
working towards a degree or diploma in an industry-related program
(forestry, supply chain, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering,
industrial engineering). - You are
committed to maintaining a safe work environment. - You
communicate clearly and enjoy collaborating with your team and other
departments. - You are
interested in hands-on work in an industrial setting. - You are
comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
