We’re looking for certified Millwrights who are enthusiastic team players. Shift would be weekend Millwright working Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.. Starting rate for this position is $43.19 per hour as outlined in our collective bargaining agreement. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
What You’ll Do
- Preventive maintenance and repair of sawmill and planer equipment.
- Breakdown repairs of sawmill and planer equipment.
- Set up and calibration on sawmill and planer equipment.
- Install machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints and other drawings.
- Work in a safe and efficient manner, following all safety rules and regulations.
What You Offer
- Red Seal Certified Millwright.
- Strong safety background.
- Sawmill/Planer experience an asset.
- Good technical, problem solving and trouble-shooting skills.
- Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
- PLC training.
