What You’ll Do
- Be a proactive saftey leader, by following safe work procedures, reporting and mitigating hazards and leading by example.
- Perform regular and preventative
maintenance on equipment (forklifts, loaders, trucks) - Fix or replace defective parts,
components or systems using hand and power tools - Service attachments and working tool
blades, plows and buckets - Test and repair equipment for proper
performance
What You Offer
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic
- Red Seal ticket or indentured apprentice as a Heavy Duty Mechanic is preferred
- Ability to work safely, and in accordance with safe work procedures
- Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing
hydraulic and electrical systems on mobile equipment - Comfortable working outdoors in all
weather and around environmentally sensitive environments - Team player with knowledge of safety and
regulatory requirements
