What You’ll Do

  • Be a proactive saftey leader, by following safe work procedures, reporting and mitigating hazards and leading by example.
  • Perform regular and preventative
    maintenance on equipment (forklifts, loaders, trucks)
  • Fix or replace defective parts,
    components or systems using hand and power tools
  • Service attachments and working tool
    blades, plows and buckets
  • Test and repair equipment for proper
    performance

What You Offer

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic
  • Red Seal ticket or indentured apprentice as a Heavy Duty Mechanic is preferred
  • Ability to work safely, and in accordance with safe work procedures
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing
    hydraulic and electrical systems on mobile equipment
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all
    weather and around environmentally sensitive environments
  • Team player with knowledge of safety and
    regulatory requirements
