Environment Manager, Manufacturing, Timmins, Ontario
As an Environment Manager, Manufacturing, you will lead
impactful environmental compliance initiatives across our Canadian Operations.
You’ll drive continuous improvement, ensure regulatory excellence, and
collaborate with operations leaders to build a culture of accountability and
sustainability.
As this role will be supporting all our Canadian Operations,
the successful can be based out of the following locations in Ontario:
Timmins, Nairn Centre, Elk Lake, Sault Ste. Marie. We are also open to the successful
candidate being based out of one of our locations in British Columbia and New Brunswick.

Highlights of the Role
- Lead Environmental Programs: Serve as the technical expert and environmental leader, ensuring compliance with federal, provincial and local regulations across Canadian operations.
- Partner & Support Operations: Build strong relationships with Mill Managers and EHS Coordinators to integrate and execute the Environmental Management System.
- Ensure Compliance & Continuous Improvement: Conduct audits, support incident investigations and drive corrective actions to proactively manage risks and maintain high standards.
- Reporting & Training: Oversee regulatory reporting, analyze compliance data for leadership and deliver training to strengthen environmental awareness and accountability.
What You Offer
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field, with at least 2 years of environmental compliance experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Technical Expertise: Knowledge of federal/provincial environmental regulations, permitting, audits, reporting and Environmental Management Systems.
- Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership, collaboration and communication skills with the ability to influence, problem-solve and drive results.
- Value & Work Ethic: Committed to safety, enviornmental stewardship, accountability and delivering high-quality, detail-oriented results.
