Summer student – General Labourer (Weekend), Val-d’Or, Quebec
When you join our team as a Summer student – General Labourer (Weekend), reporting to the supervisor, you
will be performing in various tasks related to production.
What You’ll Do
- Attach lumber bundles for drying outdoors;
- Rebuild and replenish packages of lumber and planed lumber overturned in the yard;
- Clean the yard and other area of the plants;
- Perform housekeeping indoor/outdoor;
- Clean during work stoppages areas inaccessible during operations;
- Perform other related duties.
What You Offer
- Hold professional diploma or the equivalent;
- Have at least 1 year of relevant experience;
- Knowledge of French or English;
- Team working skills;
- Autonomy and initiative;
- Exercise vigilance and adhere to all health/safety policies.
Additional information
The salary is $26.69/hour
The weekend schedule is Friday to Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (3 x 12h, paid 40h)
