Human Resources Services Coordinator, Val-d’Or, Quebec

When you join our team as a Human Resources Services Coordinator, reporting to the Human Resources Director for our
Val-d’Or plants, you will be responsible for providing professional, technical
and administrative support necessary for the implementation and monitoring of
files, programs and projects related to the human resources department, health
and safety in the workplace as well as to plant management when necessary.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate and carry out the recruitment process for hourly staff;
  • Support the human resources department in HR initiatives and projects;
  • Coordinate labor movement processes and employee training;
  • Act as a resource person regarding the administration of benefits;
  • Follow-up on occupational and non-occupational injuries files with the CNESST and LifeWorks;
  • Ensure the integration of new employees;
  • Collaborate in the coordination of the service anniversary program – updating information, tracking orders and inventories, etc.;
  • Plan and organize meetings and events by taking charge of logistics activities (meetings, committees, training, travel);
  • Prepare documents, presentations (power point) and various files associated with the various human resources and communication processes;
  • Produce and update reports and maintain records required for human resources management including health and safety, training, labor relations, recruitment, etc.;
  • Perform various administrative tasks related to internal management; (invoicing, time management system, form preparation, performance management system, dashboard, as well as updating various files);
  • Perform any other task of the same nature or of a general nature related to the job requested by his superior or required by his duties.

What You Offer

  • University or college diploma in human resources management or industrial relations and have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office software (Excel, WORD and Power Point);
  • Fluency
    in French both orally and in writing, proficiency in English is an important asset;
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills;
  • Autonomy, agility and great attention to detail;
  • Teamwork skills;
  • Demonstrate curiosity and creativity;
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels;
  • Responsible and autonomous;
  • Be customer oriented;
  • Demonstrate rigor and professional ethics.
