Interfor’s Western HQ Lumber is made with fine-grained fiber from the highest-quality forests in North America — with exacting quality and performance standards every time.
To produce our HQ line of product we have secured a stable supply of fine-grained species and milled them to exacting tolerances and proprietary grade standards that guarantee customer satisfaction.
- Wane restricted to pencil wane only (1/2” across corn only on the occasional piece)
- Warp highly minimized
- Splits and end checks are minimized
- No decay or rot

Interfor’s Western HQ Lumber is produced from high-quality stands of Spruce/Pine/Fir, Douglas-Fir/ Larch(N) and Inland Hem-Fir(N) from British Columbia’s Southern Interior. HQ grades are sorted at our Adams Lake, Castlegar and Grand Forks facilities.
